Combat Design/Style

To say that there is a combat style within this game would be an overstatement. The two features within the combat will be resolution as well as distractions. The Shaman’s role in this spiritual world is to restore balance between evil and good spirits. To help the Shaman’s quest, these two combat mechanics will be a way to deter any bad spirits from hindering this goal.

The Resolution mechanic:

This mechanic largely depends on the reputation that the Shaman has within the spirit world. It allows for the Shaman to interact with evil spirits and negotiate terms with them, so that resolutions can be made and the Shaman may continue their adventure.

The Distraction mechanic:

This mechanic will typically be used when the resolution mechanic doesn’t work and the only option for the Shaman to proceed into new territory is to form a distraction which will divert the spirits away.
